I am a youth services librarian who has worked at Way Public Library for 15 years. I have a particular love for picture books; anything silly that will get a laugh out of my young nieces and nephews! I am very familiar with the library’s board book, picture book and early reader collections. I also run a juvenile book club for ages 8-12 and a teen book club for ages 12-16. We have discovered many excellent books during those clubs that I am happy to recommend. Most books I read in my spare time are Fantasy (juvenile, teen and adult).

When I am not at the library, you will likely find me listening to podcasts on a walk or caring for an excessive amount of houseplants.

Request recommendations from Alyssa.
