Welcome to Way Public Library
November is National Novel Writing Month (NaNoWriMo). From November 1st to November 30th, people around the world will try to write 50,000 words in 30 days.
Join us for two write-ins in November with the first being on the 16th and second being on the 23rd. Both write-ins will start at 2:00pm. The write-ins will provide a place and time to work on your writing – we’ll have games, writing prompts, coffee, and comfortable places to sit and write.

Join us on Thursday November 20 at 10:30am as WGTE and Way Library present an episode of “American Experience”. In “Cold War Roadshow” we’ll revisit one of the most bizarre episodes in the annals of modern history — the unprecedented barnstorming across America by Soviet Premier Nikita Khrushchev, the world leader of Communism and America’s arch-nemesis, during 13 days in 1959. A discussion will follow the screening.
Admission and refreshments are free of charge.
Join us on November 20 at 7:00pm for a part “peer review” session and part “ think tank,” as we make plans for the author support group for 2015.
Annette Jenson, Executive Director of PRIZM Creative Community will lead this session as we brainstorm new and exciting ideas for the upcoming year. New participants are always welcome.
Perfect for the holidays! Participants will create a 12”-14” decorated boxwood tree in this make-and-take program. Choose from one of these three classes: Dec. 1 at 3:00pm, Dec. 1 at 6:30pm or December 2 at 10:00am.
Class size is limited to 20 participants per class. Registration required at Information Desk. $20 fee for materials.
