Way Library

This directory of career training and higher education opportunities in Northwest Ohio brings together information about local institutions, all accredited in Ohio, that provide certifications or degrees in a wide range of occupations and professions. The directory is organized into three sections: Colleges and Universities, Community Colleges, and Vocational and Career Training.

We want to provide area residents with a range of local educational and vocational choices.  It is our sincere hope that this directory will assist community members who are looking for information about local educational and vocational opportunities.

The Northwest Ohio Career Training and Higher Education Directory was compiled by Way Public Library staff Kate Kinison and Karen Rothman, with technical assistance from Anna Bristol and Travis McAfee.

Entrepreneur Week at Way Public Library

Way Public Library hosted three programs for local entrepreneurs during the week of April 26, 2010.

Debby Peters, founder of Sales…And More! and director of training for The Certified Networker®, started off Entrepreneur week on Monday, April 26th at 7:00 p.m. with her talk:  Am I Really Successful? One Business Owner’s Journey. Ms. Peters shared the lessons she has learned along the way about business ownership, including the successes and the pitfalls of entrepreneurship.
