Way Library welcomes Dan Masters, local historian, for a presentation on Toledo-area UFO sightings in 1952. Over the weekends of July 19-20 and 26-27 in 1952, air traffic controllers in Washington, D.C. detected unidentified flying objects in the skies over the capital. These sightings triggered national media coverage but also triggered a local component in northwestern Ohio: for five straight days (July 22-27, 1952), observers witnessed unexplained lights in the skies of the Toledo area, and struggled to understand what they meant.
