You are invited to join us Tuesday, March 19 at 7:00pm for a special presentation about Asian Carp in the Great Lakes. This is a free event in the lower level of Way Public Library. Registration is not required.
The Perrysburg Area League of Women Voters and Way Library join together to welcome Sandy Bihn, clean waterways advocate and Western Lake Erie Waterkeeper. In her capacity as an official Waterkeeper of the nonprofit Waterkeeper’s Alliance and also as a long-time resident of the shores of Maumee Bay, Ms. Bihn is a tireless advocate for the protection of our water. In her talk, Ms. Bihn will describe the problems associated with the introduction of Asian Carp into our waterways and the need for a permanent solution. She will also discuss the role of climate change in the dropping water level of Lake Erie.
